What shipping method do you use for Canada?

Most of our collectibles, prop replicas and statues ship to Canada from our warehouse in Seattle, WA, USA.

The Standard shipping option for the majority of products (see exceptions below) is USPS Priority Mail International and the Expedited shipping option is USPS Priority Mail Express International. For both of these there may be a CAD$9.95 handling fee debited by Canada Post. Any item from our site will also be subject to a customs inspection and applicable taxes and duties (see below).

Please also see the Canada Post website for more information.

Exceptions

Some items are too large and/or heavy to be accepted by USPS and for these we use UPS Ground as the Standard option and UPS Worldwide Express as the Expedited option.

UPS Ground shipments will incur a brokerage fee as well as applicable taxes and duties. UPS Worldwide Express is brokerage-free, but still subject to taxes and duties. For more information about UPS brokerage fees, please see the UPS website.

Smaller merchandise, such as jewellery, pins, T-shirts, books, prints etc, including some small collectibles such as Hobbit Holes and replica keys, are sent directly from New Zealand using NZ Post Airmail or International Courier depending on the value of the package.

Please note that shipping prices on the Weta website DO NOT INCLUDE any taxes, duties or brokerage fees and that these are your responsibility.

However - we have taken all the steps we can to ensure the shipping methods we use represent the best overall value to our customers.
